Quizzes are fun and there is no quicker way to learn about computer science at any level.
Cryptics – 2018 was no exception. At Mysuru the event enabled students from different schools to engage in an excellent display of Tech talent. It was mind blogging to witness the high levels of intellect and knowledge of youngsters both on stage and in the audience.

In the history of education, the 1980's will stand out as the decade during which many countries throughout the world introduced computers in schools on a large scale. India started out late but has eventually caught up with its peers. This technological innovation was not only unprecedented in its scope, but also in the controversies it raised at that time. What is the place of computers in the curriculum? What are the potential and actual benefits of using computers as a tool in the instructional process?
Fast forward to current times and it is impossible to imagine our life without computers in various forms, that function to keep everything running from power plants to hospitals to banks and even entertainment for a toddler.
As the world moves towards unchartered technological areas of Artificial intelligence and IOT, it is essential that we start assimilating a deeper knowledge of computers in our school curriculum. It is paramount that we start redesigning academic content and instructional practices to promote active and hands-on learning, aligned with postsecondary and career-readiness.
Cryptics has been designed as a platform for young enthusiastic learners to enhance their knowledge, boost creativity and develop a healthy competitive environment that is essential for excellence. This platform aims to harness the hidden talent of students across the state and eventually be a pan India initiative in a couple of years.
Our aim is to kindle a quest for knowledge in the field of information technology which will eventually metamorphose into a thriving ecosystem that promotes creativity, entrepreneurship and cutting-edge innovation.
