Launched in 2018 by Vydehi School of Excellence, Cryptics is India's Premier School Technology Quiz Championship and one of the country's leading inter-school technology competitions for students in Grades 6 to 8.
Bringing together young minds from schools across India, this national technology championship encourages students to explore emerging technologies, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, and engage with topics such as artificial intelligence, programming, information technology, and digital innovation.
Now in its ninth edition, this school technology quiz competition continues to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, digital literacy, and future-ready skills among the next generation of innovators and technology leaders.

Cryptics was founded on the belief that technology education must go beyond textbooks and empower students to engage with the ideas shaping the future.
Envisioned by Mr. Harjeet Kakkar, CEO of Vydehi School of Excellence, this School Technology Quiz Championship for students was created to inspire young learners to explore technology, think critically, and embrace innovation from an early age.
What began as an initiative to nurture technological curiosity has evolved into a nationally recognised platform that brings together students from across India to compete, collaborate, and showcase their knowledge on a national stage.
Today, Cryptics continues to reflect this vision by encouraging future-ready learning and celebrating the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and technology leaders.
Vydehi School of Excellence founded by the late Dr. D. K. Audikesavulu Naidu, with the aim to provide holistic education at par with international standards. The motto of our school “ Knowledge is Supreme Power” caters our vision of lighting a lamp of knowledge that illuminates the world with its wisdom, while creating a knowledge pool that will never dry.
